If you've run a motorized Pack Wheel in thick country, you know the problem — brush snags in the chain and spoke area, and over time it causes chain to Derailt short. The original Gen 1 chain guard was a U-shaped wrap around the chain that worked in theory, but in practice it was difficult to fit without modification The Chain Guard Gen 2 fixes that. We redesigned the geometry from the ground up, angling the guard so it actively deflects brush away from the chain and spoke area before it can cause damage. No more snagging or brush entering the chain area.   Just clean, reliable drive performance through the nastiest terrain you can find.

What's New in Gen 2:

• Angled deflection design — Redirects brush away from inside the frame
• No modification needed — Fits clean right out of the box, unlike Gen 1.  New PackWheels are equipped with threaded inserts for chain guard installation
• Reduces chain failures — Brush is one of the leading causes of chain damage in the field; Gen 2 addresses it directly
